Ephesians 4:4-5:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all,

and through all, and in you all.

According to this verse, there is only ONE baptism. This study will help determine just what that ONE baptism is….As this study continues, search the scriptures yourself and see if you can determine what that ONE baptism is….

Hint:

This ONE baptism is into Christ for the forgiveness of sins after a person hears, believes and repents. This one baptism is total immersion in water as the account of the Ethiopian eunuch undeniably illustrates.

It is very possible for people to go through a ritual that is called baptism without it being the baptism commanded by Jesus. “Baptism” that is not “for the forgiveness of sins” is not this one baptism.
