Was Darwin a
racist?
It certainly looks that way…
Although most
people are familiar with Charles Darwin, Natural Selection, and the theory of
(macro)evolution, they have never considered that Charles Darwin might have
actually been quite a racist. In fact, most modern day versions of his book
drop off the full title, which was:
On
The Origin of Species
by Means of Natural Selection,
or
The
Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life
Granted, it is
a long, cumbersome title that requires shortening, but Darwin’s personal
attitudes and agenda is often overlooked along with his racist attitudes.
Perhaps his attitude can best be displayed by quoting the man himself:
"At some future period (Darwin writes), not very
distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost
certainly exterminate and replace the savage races throughout the world. At the
same time the anthropomorphous apes ... will no doubt be exterminated. The
break between man and his nearest Allies will then be wider, for it will
intervene between man in a more civilized state, as we may hope, even than the
Caucasian, and some ape as low as the baboon, instead of as now between the
Negro or Australian and the gorilla." (Charles
Darwin, The Descent of Man 2nd ed (New York:
A. L. Burt Co., I 874), p. 178).
Viewing the
world through the Bible, the term “race” is really a misnomer. There is only
one race—the human race. The proper term to use should not be “race”, but cultural
group, or ethnic group. Genetically, our makeup is at most only
0.0012% in variance between any cultural, or ethnic group. Internally we are
all the same. We can give blood transfusions and organ transplants between
different so-called “races.” We can reproduce amongst each other without the
slightest problem.
This should
not surprise us because the Bible teaches that we are all brothers and we all
share a common ancestor—Adam and Eve.

and you are all brothers.”

them and the exact places where they should live.

not just one race, then there would not be just one Savior. But since we are
all related to Adam, the sacrifice of God’s one and only Son is sufficient to

The result we
have in this world of abandoning God’s Word and forsaking His ways is strife,
division and evil treatment of fellow human beings. “Racism” exists because man
has not believed God and His Word. Man has ignored God and turned his back on
God. Is it any wonder we have the trouble we have? The Bible has been telling
us all along that we are all children of one Father and we are all brothers.
When we follow the teachings of the Bible we find reconciliation. When we
follow the teachings of man, we find confusion and strife. In God’s eyes, there
is not black, nor white, yellow, nor brown; there is not red, nor purple or
green. There is not American nor European, nor is there Asian or African. There
is neither Jew nor Arab, but in Christ all are one.
There is neither Jew nor
Greek, slave nor free, male nor female,
for you are all one in Christ
Jesus.

Change
in color of moth population-- but still a moth!
Natural Selection is micro-evolution.
The theory that we came from single
cell organisms that changed into multi-cell organisms such as fish, and then
these “fish” in turn changed into land dwelling creatures that in turn changed
into apes that in turn changed into humans is Macro-evolution.
Natural Selection (micro-evolution)
does not prove Macro-evolution!
There is not a single shred of
scientific evidence for Macro-evolution!
Macro-evolution is biologically and
scientifically impossible!
This is why
“science” is always looking for the “missing link” and has never been able to
find it—and never will! They are looking for something that simply does not
exist!
Evolutionists
have more “faith” than those who believe in the bible—they believe in something
there is no evidence for!
Christians
are often accused of having “blind” faith. But in reality, Christians have
their faith in the Word of God and it is the evolutionists who
have blind faith!

NOT macro-evolution!)
If the case
for macro-evolution were presented in court using micro-evolution
as “proof” or “evidence” any jury that bought it would be utter fools! No body
could convict any person of any crime using such “evidence”, so why do people
do this with God?
